4 September 2011 - Service Sunday

Warmest greetings to you.

In many suttas found in Sutta Pitaka, we will come across this phrase "... that this holy life may continue and be established for a long time for the profit and happiness of the many, out of compassion for the world, and for the benefit, profit and happiness of devas and humans...". One of the values that we can pick from the phrase is 'Compassion'.

To learn more about this value, we have invited Bro. HS Tan to explain the meaning of 'Compassion', and ways to practise it for the benefit, profit and happiness of the many. Come and join us for this Service Sunday on 4 September 2011, 9am at Nalanda Centre. The Service will commence with a short meditation session, and followed by puja and chanting.

Please share this information with your family members or friends, and bring them along to listen to the Dhamma, and be inspired by its universal and sublime quality.

For enquiries or volunteering opportunities at Nalanda, please contact Sis. Nandini Tan at 03-8938-1501 or Bro. Pee Che Yong at 012-382-8806.
