31 August 2010 - Bhavana Day

On behalf of all participants of Bhavana Day - the One-day Meditation Retreat, we humbly dedicate the merits of our meditation practices and wholesome deeds to the late Sangha Nayaka of Malaysia and Singapore, the Most Venerable Dr. Kirinde Sri Dhammananda Nayaka Maha Thera (18 March 1918 - 31 August 2006).

Meditation is an important practice to cultivate our inner peace and strength.
This meditation retreat was conducted by Sayadaw U Agganna.
Participants walked mindfully with awareness of bodily movements.
Offering of lunch dana to Sayadaw at 11.30pm.
Interview sessions were arranged for participants to clarify doubts
on meditation techniques and practices.
