26 September 2010 - Visits by Thais and Indonesian Bhikkhuni

It was a busy Sunday evening for all of us at Nalanda.  After attending the World Buddhist Conference at Hotel Istana, we got ready to welcome the arrival of Thai delegates from the Royal Thai Embassy and the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Kuala Lumpur, as well as an Indonesian bhikkhuni who had attended the conference.

Bro. Tan, Bro. Mittananda and Bro. Pee welcomed the delegation of five from the Royal Thai Embassy and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Kuala Lumpur office) at Nalanda.

Bro. Pee (left) was explaining the significance of Buddhist features at the shrine hall to the Thai delegates.

Sis. Ee Yean (left) and Sis. Sunanda (middle) were with
Ven. Bhikkhuni Badranirmala who visited Nalanda for the first time.

Ven. Bhikkhuni Santini and Ven. Bhikkhuni Badranirmala
were looking at the collections of Tipitaka at Pustaka Nalanda.
