Dear Friends in the Dhamma,
Warmest Greetings!
After 2 years of joyful toiling, Nalanda Buddhist Society is proud to announce the completion of its new 4-storey building, named Nalanda Centre.
We gladly invite you to participate in the Officiating Ceremony on 11 December 2009 from 7pm - 10pm. Please refer to the invitation card attached for programme details.
Operating from a small setup consisting of a single storey house and an office lot for the past 6 years, Nalanda is overjoyed at the prospects of offering a more conducive practice and learning environment for the Buddhist community.
Aesthetically built, Nalanda Centre provides practical facilities for social and spiritual activities, Dhamma education and training, as well as a well-stocked library for Buddhist studies.
Following the glorious Srivijayan-era decorative motives, Nalanda Centre is cleverly dabbed with hidden Buddhist symbolism. Come and refresh your Buddhist knowledge at the officiating night. Guided tour will be organized between 5pm - 7pm. Look out for our e-mail on Tour Schedules at a later date.
Kindly confirm your participation in the Officiating Ceremony by 21 November 2009. For reservations, please email rsvp@nalanda.org.my or call Sis. Buddhini Tan at +6012.295.5245 or Sis. Yvette Wong at +6012.255.3280.
Let us rejoice and celebrate this significant milestone with New Spirit and New Hope! Thank you.
With metta,
Sis. Buddhini Tan
