Good news!
The Shrine Hall (Level 1) and Office (Level 2) of Nalanda Centre are now completed! With this, we would like to share with you the following activities and programmes scheduled to take place at Nalanda Centre this weekend.
1. Cleaning sessions
Volunteers are needed to clean the Centre before we move in. The cleaning sessions are scheduled as follows:
Session 1: 30 October (Friday) 7pm – 10pm
Session 2: 31 October (Saturday) 9am – 5pm
Session 3: 1 November (Sunday) 1pm – 10pm
We encourage you to offer a few hours of your spare time this weekend. Please contact the Coordinator, Sis. Sumedha at 016-668 1355 for further arrangements.
2. Arrival of Buddha-image, 31 October, Saturday
The Buddha Rupam for the new Nalanda Centre will arrive on this Saturday at 6pm. With joyful spirit, we invite you to join us in welcoming 'the arrival of the Buddha' to Serdang.
3. Buddha-Puja on 1 November, Sunday
In conjunction with the installation of the new Buddha-image at Nalanda Centre, we will have a special Buddha-puja on Sunday, 1 November, at 9am. This will be followed by a Dhamma talk and Sanghika Dana at 11am. Sunday happens to be a full-moon Uposatha Day. All are welcome to participate in this rare and meaningful religious observance.
