The current altar and Buddha image is placed temporarily, awaiting a new Buddha image that will arrive on 31st October 2009 at 6pm.The new Buddha image will be consecrated on 1st November 2009.

To mark the completion of our new Education Centre located in Sri Serdang, Nalanda Buddhist Society would like to invite the public to join us in the Adhering Gold-leaf Ceremony which started on 4th October until 30th November 2009.
Ten thousand pieces of Gold-leaf will be offered at the altar. It is our fervent hope that everyone will be able to participate in and witness the development of this Centre by offering pieces of Gold-leaf at the Buddha altar.
Just as the glittering Gold-leaf shines and brightens the Buddha altar, may our good deeds too bring the light of peace, happiness and success into our lives.
