Following the completion of Attic Floor concrete slab last month, the contractors have been concentrating on erecting walls at both sides of the Attic Floor. The construction works were smooth and fast. Soon after the completion of the walls, Roof Support Structure (Purlin) was erected.
Plastering work at the staircase of Ground, 1st and 2nd Floors were also completed. More Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works such as air-conditioning ducting, electrical cables, ventilation system ducting, alarm system cabling, are on going at the Ground Floor and 1st Floor. Plaster ceiling will be put up at Ground Floor subsequent to the completion of the M&E works.
We will continue to closely monitor the rebuilding progress and solicit donations for the Building Fund until its successful completion. As of 10 August 2009, the Building Fund shortage was RM970,000.
Our daily chanting and blessings session continues at Nalanda Dharma Centre, 8pm from Mondays to Saturdays; and 9am on Sundays. We invite you and your family members to join us. May the blessings of the Triple Gem be upon you.
