A SUCCESSFUL PESTA NALANDA 2007

Dear members and devotees,
Namo Buddhaya!
Once again, congratulations! We have concluded another event successfully. The success of Pesta Nalanda 2007 indeed is the culmination of all the effort being put in days and nights. We could see many of you have lent helping hands to whatever place and whenever they are needed. This shows that real esprit-de-corp have been cultivated and genuinely practiced in the society. This noble practice should be continued and nurtured as it is manifestation of the teaching of the Dhamma.
As we know, the fund generated by this event will be channeled to Nalanda Institute, Nalanda Vidyalaya and Pustaka Nalanda. These three entities are of great importance to our society as we work towards providing quality Dharma education, that is, “Education of Heart”. To complete it, we need sufficient resources to support this noble goal, for example, a conducive environment for our courses, a well-stocked and equiped library, and so on so forth.
Adequate material and financial support is essential to equip all our educational facilities. So, with the fund raised, we are actually one step closer to our objective. Yet, we are still a long way from the actual funds we require but it is not difficult to achieve if;
- we believe what we do is for the good and benefit of many people;we can see
- what we do has benefited the people, and
- we act based on what we believe and do it diligently and honestly.
As such, one small step is actually a big leap if we have faith that all the foreseen and unforeseen difficulties in the future will be overcome. As for the Management Committee, we are motivated by your wholehearted effort put in for the Pesta. Let us together continue to move forward and cross over all other challenges!
