"Thank You For a Wonderful Wesak"

Dear members and devotees,
Wesak Observance has just been concluded peacefully and successfully. This year, the observance was carried out in a different way compared to previous years. Yet, as is always our priority, simplicity and peacefulness are the qualities that we must uphold in every observance. Happy to say that, we have not lost both qualities but have further enhanced it.
Our theme this year is “Success Through Unity and Discipline”. Both unity and discipline are the prerequisites that determine how successful a programme is, how good an individual grows, how effective a Buddhist organization is being managed and most importantly, how far the outreach goes.
What touched our heart is that we have shown both qualities remarkably well. We could see how people took initiative and commitment to complete all the tasks by spending many days and nights at Nalanda. From food preparation, decoration, artwork, painting, sewing, cleaning, exhibition to procession, all these works and programmes would not be performed without consistency and discipline. What is worthy to say is that, they have been completed peacefully with the teamwork and kalyana mitta spirit. That is the quality of unity!
Brothers and sisters, we would like to take this opportunity to express our greatest appreciation for your wonderful deeds done throughout Wesak Observance. We rejoice over your wholesome deeds. Your good examples have been shining and strengthening our faith with Dharma, our hearts with Sasana!
Let us be happy! Let the happiness be spread around!
